After multiple uses over a charcoal grill, the product has performed well on thinner teriyaki sauces (might require a close delivery) on beef and pork, and thick BBQ sauces for chicken thighs over a slow fire. Should have no issues with butter, garlic, wine sauce of fish or a steak Butter /Worcestershire sauce.

The construction on this silicone brush is nice, but the brush head is really tiny. It's about an inch and a half long, it's not really sufficient for basting large food items.

The longer handle keeps your hands away from the heat from the BBQ and the silicone bristles make me feel secure that I've gotten the brush head clean. Very happy with this product.
