Bought the product to help with water spots and streaking on a black car. It does its job. It worked. Awesome! Black light really polishes up the car well and then to finish off with the wax. Love this product.

Have a new 2024 VW Golf R in pearl black. Did my research on all the Chemical Guys products. Great stuff. They are everything they claim to be. Love the soap, towels and all the detailing items. Love it and will continue to use it. ðŸ‘

I’m obsessive with taking care of my car and I’ve tried a lot of products, started with Meguiars and nowadays my go to is Chemical Guys or Griot garage (tried many things in between)Blacklight: I love the gloss it gives, it is really worth it, one of my favorite products, the swirl and scratch hiding tech is not great, barely hides them, but I use it for the gloss it adds to the car, I also love how easy it is to remove.Black wax: This one is just ok, it does look good but nothing out of the ordinary, the photos attached are with this wax, what I like is that is a little easier to remove than proper carnuba paste wax, but from my experience it doesn’t last as long or adds a lot of water beading tech, but it’s a great compromise between looks and easy to apply, for what is worth I get the absolute best results from Collinite Marque D Elegance paste was, but it’s 5 times harder to remove.Other than that photos speak for them selves, considering my car is 5 years old it still looks like new

Overall the set is OK not perfect nor anything amazing. The only thing I was disappointed was the sponges and the black light. They didn’t really work. It didn’t have me a deep color shine. It was just the same as the rest of the car, pure black obsidian. By the way, For those who think that black light is a rubbing compound, it’s not. It’s actually a glaze to give it a deeper shine.

I neglected my cars paint for about 2 years. After purchasing all Chemical Guys products - Optical Compound, Optical Cutting Polish, Optical Finishing Polish, Buffer Pads and this kit, the paint is almost 100%I was not completely happy after finishing the polishing. Some of the deeper scratches and swirls were still clearly visible.Using this black kit brought the paint back to an amazing deep, wet shine. I did 2 light coats of the glaze and 2 coats of the wax. Every imperfection with the exception of rock chips and 1 small key scratch are now invisible unless you are an inch away from the paint.Great kit!

This stuff is fantastic. I used it with the collinite double double wax and I have never gotten results this good before. I actually applied it in a different order than was recommended but is more standard for waxing. Black light, collinite and then black wax. It recommends black wax then black light but I can't imagine the benefits of the glaze would last long being on top of the wax. Regardless I do know you get excellent results either way. From a durability standpoint it has kept my car at perfect mirror finish for over two months now and we have had lots of rain and snow during that time period. There's really nothing like this stuff. Also my car is 15 years old with original paint so it's not exactly perfect but it really looks beyond that after you put this stuff on it.

Got the kit and went to work on our 1986 Corvette with original black paint. I had gone through so many waxes to try and find one that didn't swirl or was impossible to remove and thought I had found the est until I tried this stuff. It goes on easy and it almost as easy to remove. The black glass like finish that if left behind is incredible. I hope this last a while because my former favorite was usually gone after a couple of washes. Great stuff!Can't wait to wax our 2014 Mustang GT.

Although this product was very expensive, found it very easy to use, and the outcome was amazing! I already had a flawless amazing black paint job with traces of blue pearl in it and was skeptical on what this product would do. I was impressed along with a good friend of mine who has been in the auto detail business for 30 years. I couldn't believe that you could the paint to look that much better than it already looked. Follow the steps provided and use the recommended products and procedures prior to using this end product. Highly recommend this product!

supplies enter different kit than, black light glaze is provided as picture, but kit contains 3 black microfibres not blue one , 2 nos of UFO applicator and supplied black paste wax # WAC _307 not the Pete's 53 black perl white which is greater than supplied one

I was worried about spending the money at first but picked this up on a descent sale.I spent about 5 hours doing my wife’s black Civic Si.- wash- clay bar- black light- wet wax- admireI have not seen a car that has such a rich, deep, wet looking black shine. The car was like a dark mirror.The microfibre cloths seem ok but I ended using a more plush 420 cloths from elsewhere. The applicator pads seem cheap, but they got the job done well. It takes a while by hand, but worth it if that’s all you have.The best part... OMG the banana smell of the wax... so yummy. Be prepared to get hungry... have a sandwich handy so you can eat it while admiring your super shiny car.I watched a whole bunch of Chemical Guys videos and was a little overwhelmed; so many products... so confusing.Our car was new so polishing wasn’t required. If you don’t need to remove scratches, this kit is pretty simple to use; it just takes time and sweat.I’m happy! Time to do my truck now.
