Step 1
Push to unlock, press the handles and push the locking latch to unlock the pitter.
Step 2
Just pop/pull the stem off, put olives and cherries in and line up where the stem was with the punch bar.
Step 3
Press the handle to pit a cherry
Step 4
Pull the locking latch to lock the pitter after use.

Well, well, well, who would have thought a small device could be so helpful? I'm talking about this little Cherry Pitter Tool. It's kinda like having an extra hand in the kitchen, especially when cherry season rolls around and my backyard trees are heavy with fruit.I'm one of those folks who loves to make everything from scratch, and this tool is a gem when it comes to whipping up my favorite homemade cherry pie. It's just like grandma used to make, but without the hours spent on pitting cherries. Plus, with two little rascals running around and another on the way, anything that can save me time is a lifesaver.Using it is as easy as pie too! You just pop the cherry in and squeeze. Even my boys can lend a helping hand. I think it's pretty safe for kids to use, with no sharp edges or anything. It's sturdy, looks like it'll last a good while. I will suggest putting paper towels down as you work, it does get a bit messy.Now, if you're someone who prefers a tidy kitchen like me, this little gadget is a dream. The pits go straight into the pitter and not all over the counter, keeping the mess in check. And when it comes to cleaning? Easy peasy. I was surprised at how well these worked to pit the cherries and with most of the pits actually coming out on their own! For those that didn't, I got pretty proficient at just lifting the cherry up a little where the pit was dangling and then just pressed down on the tool again to push the pit away.Although this is just one at a time, it worked much faster than my pitter that held multiple cherries at an angle and each one would go through the pitting part. Unfortunately, that one kept not pushing the pits out cleanly, so I would spend a lot of time having to separate the pit manually and what a mess that made!This one was easy to use, didn't hurt your hands, worked well and was easy to clean. My 11 year old had no issues and enjoyed using it. He was even able to easily clean two of these by just rinsing them in the sink. My 10 year old complained that his hand hurt after a little bit, but he complains about most manual labor :-).

Works great, easy to load and unload with cherries or olives. Very easy to clean. Good size for one handed pitting. Metal pitter tip shifts a bit to the side sometimes but it was so inexpensive that it doesn't matter.

I just pitted about 100 cherries today! This was an indispensable tool. It's quite messy, so you'll want to be sure to wear an apron or something you don't care all that much about. Juice goes everywhere!It sure does do a good job of getting that pit out, though...I'm making some maraschino cherries for cocktails, and the Luxardos are SO expensive. I decided to try a recipe, and of course using fresh cherries was first on the list! It took me well over an hour to do this job, and it simply would not have been possible without this tool. It's proven to be sturdy, very easy to clean (I simply rinsed it off), and super easy to use.Highly recommended!

Way easier than pitting by hand! I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy one. I like the fun color and it seems sturdy. I nice feature is that it has a switch to lock it closed while storing. I haven't put it the dishwasher yet so I can't speak to that, I just rinse it off right away after using.

My wife saw someone use one of these on Instagram and it looked too good to be true. We bought one and couldn’t be happier. It’s made of good quality plastic and metal and works exactly as it should. Comfortable to use, relatively easy to clean… we’ve been making sure to clean right after use, as I think any dried fruit would be harder to remove from the hole where the seed exits. Great little kitchen tool! Would buy again!

I don't think it's this thing's fault necessarily but one will want to drape some cling-wrap over your hand or something because the cherry stone removal process is pretty violent and makes cherry spray go everywhere, on your clothes, glasses, countertop, everywhere. It would be an awesome improvement if they mounted some dome over the cup that the cherry sits in but in the mean time just be awareI tried it with all different sized cherries, including ones that I thought would be way too small for it to work up but it worked great for them. The cup mechanism they designed does a great job of holding the cherries but letting the stones through

Works great. Can de-stone a whole bag of cherries pretty quickly. Makes it a lot easier to serve to the kiddos or use cherries for baking etc

This is the first time I have made cherry jam and needed a cherry pitter. This was super easy to use and did a great job removing the pit. Highly recommend it.

This was an excellent product to use to speed up removing cherries pits so that I could make my jam. It is so quick so effective it literally keeps all of the fruit intact and just remove the seeds so you don’t lose any fruit great price very effective. Highly recommend.
