Edited because I got a hold of the manufacturer.The ring gear is short and required me to move the entire diff to the passenger side with the carrier shims by .10 inch. I didn't realize that I have the "highest" gears for this axle assembly (2.56) and, after calling the company directly, I found out that there are 2 different carriers (2 and 3-series) and I need a spacer for the ring gear since I have a 2-series carrier. This is very important to know and I highly recommend calling the company first (Quick Performance) because my drum is now scraping on the driver's side. I tried emailing them directly about all the questions that came up with no success but they answered immediately when I called so I suggest contacting them by phone. This is my first rebuild and I'm disappointed that I will be on my second very soon here due to lack of information from Amazon's end. I definitely learned to contact the manufacturer first on such a complicated job to ensure I have everything correct prior to building.

Everything about this kit was pretty awesome except for the differential housing side bearings. They were timken brand but they were not the right size for my truck even though the kit was said to be for my size ring gear.
