I purchased this quilt in the large king size to cover two extra long twin beds pushed together. When it arrived I didn’t pay attention to the “stick it in the dryer†instructions and was disappointed in its capacity to cover the two beds and fall nicely to either side. Then, magically, over a period of time, the quilt relaxed into a much larger bed covering, and now I couldn’t be happier! I then purchased a twin size quilt in a companion pattern, same colors, to act like a throw blanket at the end of the bed, and threw it in the dryer as instructed, to help it relax. Even then, it continued to relax into its final size over a period of days. So, if you think the quilt isn’t big enough when you get it, give it a little time!Also, a HUGE bonus for me, the parent of a new kitten with very sharp claws, is that he can claw his way up the quilt all he wants and leave no evidence of his passage. Magic. No shredding at all.The pattern is lighter in color than the picture, which I think is a plus. It’s also a nice weight and very soft.

Soft, breathable and lightweight. We are in a tropical climate and the current February night temps are in the 60F to 65F range.There was a lot of super fine lint after the first wash/dry, similar to washing certain new bath towels. I just wasn’t expecting this much lint. Still looks good, and I didn’t see any degrading of the fabric, yet. Hopefully this quilt holds up for a while.

I looked and looked for a quilt that had the colors I wanted. I must have looked at six or seven websites that "specialized" in home furnishings, to no avail. I went to Amazon, and there it was. Beautiful muted shades that work beautifully together. It's not heavyweight, which sits us well. The only thing I'm disappointed about was that they don't carry King Plus size, only Jumbo King, so it's too large for our King-sized bed, but at least the sides don't drape completely to the floor. We haven't reversed it yet. It washes nicely in a front-loader, there was no funky smell out of the package, and as I've mentioned, the colors are just what we've been looking for. I highly recommend.

Love the color and quality. Sleeps cool and will be great in the summertime.It's very big though. If I were to purchase another one, I would get the Full size for my Queen bed.

First things first, this quilt is indeed 100% cotton; there's no polyester in it. This makes it a very breathable blanket and perfect for hot sleepers such as myself. Despite its breathability, it still manages to be warm and cozy at the same, so it's great for pretty much all seasons (though in winter you might want to layer it with another blanket.)It is also very generously sized for a queen-sized blanket. It is much bigger than any other queen blanket I own, yet it still fits in the washer just fine. (Some other quilts I have owned were just too bulky for the washing machine.) It also stands up to pet claws very well without tearing (one of my cats makes fervent biscuits on it every day, the little sweetie.) Last but not least, the pattern I got was stunning. All in all, a highly deserved 5 stars.

This quilt set is perfect for our guest room. I purchased a king to fit our queen bed so that it falls almost to the floor on each side. Light enough for summer and works well with another quilt or blanket underneath for winter weight. Colors are soft and can go with both a gray pallet or beige/taupe.

I needed a new cotton quilt and I'm glad I found this one! I needed something light and breathable and this is exactly what I was looking for, including the purple color. Some reviewers mention that it is thin. Well, traditionally quilts are thin pieces of cotton fabric sewn together. Some may have a thin layer of fabric in-between and in modern times have batting material. They are meant to be a thin blanket or used as a bedspread/coverlet. If you want something thicker or warmer, that's what comforters are for. This particular quilt style has a very thin layer of soft material in-between the two sides. It is very soft and I did wash it a couple of times in warm water and hot drier. It came out great and didn't seem to shrink since the fabric is pre-washed (pre-shrunk). I plan on buying a second one in another color.

For those of you who have been following my reviews if any of you exist out there? You probably know that my mother has dementia. Recently, she just got in a Special Care Home and she was living with me before. So her room is now a spare bedroom. I decided that I would take mom away from the home every second weekend but I wanted to surprise her with something nice. So I repainted all the bedroom furniture (see pics), I bought her a new mattress, a platform bed frame so she doesn’t have to sleep on a squeeky box spring, I found a cute lamp on MarketPlace (cute guy delivered it too!), I found these fleece blankets that said I Love Mom on Amazon here and I bought 3 of those. 1 red to give her at mother’s day, 1 blue for the spare bedroom and 1 other red one that I kept for myself (they were buy 2 get +1 free = 3) and I still have a few more things to do in the room before it’s perfect but I needed a new bedspread and I have a quilt on my bed (Nautica bought on Amazon) and I love it so I thought, what about a nice quilt that could match the colour scheme and I stumbled on this one here and I saw it, looked at others, came back to it, and settled on it. It looks fantastic. Very soft and thick too. For a quilt, I would say it’s medium weight. A little above lightweight which is good in my opinion… the heavier the blanket, the better it is (I have a 30LB blanket on my bed - found on Amazon - I didn’t even know those existed and best purchase I ever made) but the quilt set looks amazing. Fits perfectly on the Queen Size Bed and comes with the 2 pillow shams. I really hope mom likes her new weekend room. It motivates me to do some things for mom. I know I wasn’t always the nicest person to mom when growing up and she could have really used a lot more love from me than what I gave but I promised myself that she’s going to hear “I Love You Mom†every day of her life until the day she unfortunately leaves me because now that she’s got dementia, she needs us more than ever and I want to make sure she knows and feels that she’s not a burden and that I enjoy having her around even with dementia! The cover is perfect. Generous in size, lightweight, exactly what I was expecting from the photos. It has a very small flaw in the fabric although hardly noticeable.

Bought this quilt last spring and I love it. It is perfect for the warmer summer months as it is light and is just as pictured. It washes great and gives the bed a nice clean look. Great value.
