These are great starters for Brooding. They are too small for bigger hens, but work wonderfully for chicks!

My chickies kept on throwing their wood bedding inside the water thing, it doesn’t work well without a stand underneath. The water get dirty very easy with their food or wood chips.

The plastic containers seem to be fairly well made and the plastic "dishes" that screw on to the containers are not flimsy. These provide enough water/feed for several chicks, but you would not want to use these if you have full-size chickens (unless you want to refill them every day or a couple times a day). If you were traveling with a couple of chickens, these are perfect if you know what I mean. Bottom line: I'd buy again.

I could not get the two pieces of the purple feeder bottom to attach for the life of me. I know these can be tricky, but my other one from a different company attaches fine. It seems like the bottom part is just a bit too large to fit into the grooves for the top part with the feeding holes. I packed it up to return.
