This claimed we could use it to hard boil eggs in the microwave but it came in an open box without instructions. Amazon sent a message to the vendor asking for instructions but they were never provided. Returned the egg cooker.

I had to try it out immediately. The instructions on the Amazon website say 5 minutes for a hard boiled egg, but I used a cold egg from the fridge and it came out way too runny inside.2nd try I increased the time to 7.5 minutes and it was perfect!Easy way to make a quick hard boiled egg for a salad etc.

This was fantastic the first two times. Then, it blew up in the microwave. What a mess! It also got rusty looking spots after a few uses. I was really disappointed because the chicken is cute!
