This is the easiest way to shred chicken or really most meats. I often cook meals in the crock pot where you have to pull the chicken out after it has been cooked to shred it. It can be messy trying to use forks or other shredding tools on wet chicken. With this, you just put it in, shred it, and pour it back into the pot. Simple. These make great gifts as well.

I looked at these shredders for months debating over whether I needed another gadget when I could keep shredding with a fork. I'm like having good kitchen equipment but I don't like things that are just a gimmick, which is what I suspected this was. I WAS SO WRONG. I could never achieve the uniform shredding that this device produced in a matter of seconds. It shreds a big chicken breast in just a couple rotations.The way that it is designed, once it's shredded it all comes out completely so quickly and the process is so fast.Easy to use, easy to clean. Sturdy. Good quality.Now I actually search for recipes that use shredded meat so that I can use it. Get one.

This works wonderfully! I put two large, fully cooked boneless chicken breasts in it, set the top on and twisted 2, maybe 3 times, and whoaaaa! Completely shredded, and ready for enchiladas! Super easy to use and just as easy to clean. I wish I'd gotten one of these years ago!

Product does work, but it took longer to shred the meat than it would take using 2 forks.
