I saw a chef using this on a TV show and I thought it did a good job on shredding meat. I make pulled pork and chicken enchiladas and chicken salad often and I don't like shredding the meat. I am so happy I bought this because it made this chore so much easier. The unit snaps together easily. The handles are easy to grip for my old, arthritic hands. There are rubber grips on the bottom that keep it firmly in place as you twist the top to shred the Meat. The consistency of the Meat is perfect for enchiladas or pulled pork. It comes with a sturdy brush to clean it completely. I don't have a dishwasher, but I assume it is dishwasher safe. I like it so much I bought several for my sisters for an inexpensive little Christmas gift. I am pleased with how it works and the end result. The quality is very good and it is a good price and very sturdy. I recommend this meat shredder.

I had been using shredding forks to shred my chicken for chicken salad and enchiladas. Thei thing is so much better, easier on my hands, faster then the forks, easy to clean and I love the brush they sent with it. I will be buying one for my son who also loves to cook. It works so well it's kind of fun!

This shredder shreds! So easy to use. So easy to wash with included brush. We cook up a bunch of chicken in a crock pot and shred it. Then freeze the shredded chicken. It reheats super fast and you can grab a little or a lot depending on what you’re making. Great for adding to a salad, making pulled chicken sandwiches, etc. Happy shredding!

Pretty cool gadget. Some pieces move to the edges, making it necessary to rearrange, but overall easier than shredding with forks like I've done for 30 years

Works extremely well for shredding chicken breasts for chicken salad or in my case, my dogs food. Quick and easy. I have found that if you cut the whole breast in half and shred it, there’s not a portion of solid chicken in the middle where it doesn’t get to move as much.Certainly cuts down on the time!

This works GREAT! The quickest and EASIEST shredder I have ever used!!! It comes with a cleaning brush that made washing a breeze! Very well made. Handles are easy to grip even for those with arthritis. I was able to shred 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts within seconds! Great value for the money! Worth every penny!!! Perfect size for individual or family use!

I bought this before the holidays and just got a chance to use. I used to shred by hand with a fork and thought my arm would fall off. This was amazing. It worked great and was very easy to use, easy to clean and store. I thought a good price and seems pretty sturdy, but only time will tell on that. I would recommend.

Everyone needs this is u like shredded meat. Btw don't try on cold meat ( as hubby tried). The fibers are too hard to shredded easily. But, warm chicken, brisket etc are incredibly easy to shred!
