This hat was so cute and fit my one year old perfectly. It was a great quality hat for a very reasonable price. Came in a special box that kept the hat stiff and also kept its shape. Definitely could use again next year as it has functional drawstrings to tighten or loosen the hat.

The hat is cute, sturdy, but expensive for what you get. Some reviews say to cut the string off, but I would consider hot gluing it down where it’s tied, or putting a stitch to anchor it down. Even if you just tied it in a secure knot that a child could not undo. I think the stitching adds character. I remember having one just like this when I was a kid, loose strings and all. I survived.

Bought this for our 5 year old daughter who is currently into Toy Story AND all things cowgirl. She loves, loves, loves this hat. 3 weeks later and she's still wearing it often. This is definitely a little kid's hat, will not fit my bulbous head and is probably a stretch to get it on our 11-year old nephew, but for little ones, this hat is tops, especially for the money. It's cute, it's inexpensive and it looks like it will last...Made of hard felt with not a lot that could necessarily go wrong with it. It's all one piece (plus the white string around the brim which then hangs down to form a neck strap). Moms, dads, aunts, uncles and grandparents--if you're thinking about getting this hat for your young one, do it. You won't regret it!

My 5 year old grandson loves his “Woody†hat. I was afraid it would be too small but it fit fine, although he is a little small for his age. The hat arrived in plastic inside a box, and in good condition. The only negative is that the cord that is laced around the brim wasn’t fastened, just dangled loosely. I tied it tightly at the back and added a little glue to be sure it doesn’t come unraveled. (This cord is for decoration and not the chin strap, which was fine)

For the price, I expect this to be flimsy plastic with a spray on felt coating. Something that dents easily and wouldn't last long against my children's playing. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and well made these hats are. They are super adorable and my children love them. This is one of those purchases where you'll feel like you got your bang for your buck. We got the "Woody" and "Jessie" hats and both were of the same quality!

Nice hat but please please please take the string off as it is not safe for ANY small child!!! My son 4 years old and I walked in on him spinning it around his neck! I didn’t think he would do this since he’s 4! But you just never know! I ended up taking off the string!
