Have a couple of polyurethane air hoses that were 100 feet long, needed to cut them in half and make two hoses. These fittings are identical to the fittings that came on the hose. Just make sure you get the right size.

Works with non heavy duty hose. I had to mill the outer sleeve to fit over heavy duty hose to screw it together .. Worked great after the mod.

Items are well made. They will not fit regular air hose. These are made for hose that is only about 1/8th inch thick.

Used these for the Typical air tool air lines that look like colored clear air hose for nail guns! They are either ment for a different metric tube or thin wall hose very thin. They do work with lots of persistence to get tube thru fitting by cutting it at angle and pulling thru! Then you cut back strait and pull hose back into lock cap and then inserting barb and then just catching thread. It will work but fight you the whole time!. I will use them cause it’s only a one time fight when you use them. And hose will stay on!.. for the people without patience stay away!
