We have an external pipe system which is larger and oddly designed than most of our neighboring homes. Last year I could not find a cover that would meet the need of the actual size plus 2 inches. Searching this year, I found the Cholila cover and the design is great, strong Velcro keeps the cover closed over the pipes and there are grommets to allow you to further secure the cover to the pipe. Living in Florida, a rain storm sometimes packs hurricane-like winds which occured the evening we installed the cover. It passed the test with flying colors. We'll keep it on the pipes and probably take it off once the weather becomes warm just to ease on the wear and tear, but based on reviews may leave it on permanently. Great product, good price.

This is the largest insulated cover with Velcro sides that I was able to locate (that was reasonably priced). I don't really need the insulation as it doesn't snow or freeze. I was looking for a flexible option to minimize sun damage to the pipes. This cover at 30" x 30" fits perfectly around my 2 sprinkler valves in an odd configuration. Yay! Great thick padding with great tough shell. Measured my back flow like the instructions recommended with extra inches on each side. Fit great and now I wait for spring. Good investment.

This cover is very heavy duty. The water resistant outer layer feels very durable and the inner insulation layers are noticeably thick.The stitching looks pretty nice but there are one or two places i am going to glue down just to ensure nothing pulls out.There are plenty of grommets to tie it down to something to keep it in place. Seems like a pretty quality product at a good price.

This product it great because it opens on three sides which allows you to easily place it over the backflow pipes. It has a velcro closure on the three sides that open, as well as reinforced holes where you can use zip ties or a lock to secure the cover over the backflow pipes. I live in an area that only experiences mild freezes, this cover is thick enough to protect the pipes from freezing. I would definitely recommend this product because it works well and is not overly expensive.

The cover arrived safe and sound. I ordered an inch more than my back flow preventer and the cover fit perfectly. Having the grommets for ties if needed is really good. The material is tough, we will see how it puts up with the Central Texas sun.
