This storage stored all my Christmas lights neatly and organized. No more rolled up mess! The box is sturdy and made organizing holiday lights simple. Definitely recommend.

While I have a system for organizing my lights it's not nearly as nice as this bag. The bag itself is attractive, sturdy and there is no question that it's for storing holiday items so it's clear this should get pulled out of storage when it's time to decorate.It comes with 4 pretty thick pieces of cardboard designed for wrapping lights around them. If you have shorter light strings (50-75 lights long) you could probably fit at least 5 sets in here. If you have longer lights (100-150) then I think you can probably fit 4. If you know anyone who gets their lights in a tangle then this is something to consider gifting them.Obviously, you could store other items in here as well. If you have a small tree (3-4 feet) you might be able to fit all your ornaments inside.There are 2 small pockets on either end of the bag. These might be good to store a stray ornament or two that got batted under the sofa by a cat or small child.Update: I was easily able to fit 6 strings of lights into this handy tote. I separated the different strings with a plastic bag just so they wouldn't get caught on neighboring strands. Because there were only 4 of the cardboard inserts I wound my last 2 light strings the way I've always done, put them in separate bags and put the bags in the tote. Having the lights stowed separately will also allow me to go straight to the lights without having to dig them out of my totes with ornaments. Now I can light the tree before I have to open the ornament totes.

I purchased these for stocking and such that are soft. It works great. I would not put anything fragile in it.

If there is one season that I am overly and highly organized for, it is christmas. Because there is so much that goes into the Christmas season, it is vital for me to stay organized. I organize absolutely everything from decorations to gift wrap, bows, gift bags, outdoor decorations, everything. I don't have a separate bin specifically for lights, because I have not had enough string lights until this year. Since I used so many lights this year, I knew I needed an organizational solution specifically for the lights alone. This is that solution.The bin itself is decent quality, it is about the same as other bins I have for a gift wrapping supplies and other things. It is not plastic. But it is still durable and sturdy enough to hold several rounds of lights. It is cute, first of all. Christmas themed obviously. There are carrying handles attached, for easy transportation. It is a zipper closure, smooth zipper, no complaints. I love that this includes the heavy duty cardboard pieces that you can wrap your string lights around in order to keep organized. They are the perfect size to slide right into the bin to keep each strand of Lights wrap and organized. You know, this is exactly what I was looking for, it is dirty, durable, functional, and cute. If you are someone who likes to stay super organized for christmas, you need to add this to your organizational collection.

This is a cute decorated box to organize & store string lights. It's the fabric over hard cardboard type. It zippers from both sides around the top & has carry handles. This box is sturdy enough to hold lights, but I wouldn't stack it or put anything too heavy on it. Four thick cardboard reels are included. I wrapped a string of 50 bulbs around one reel & there's plenty of room left. I'll probably fit four sets of 100 bulb string lights into this box to store after Christmas. The box also has a roomy zippered pouch on the outside for extra bulbs, cords, odds & ends. Very nice.

We ordered a couple of versions of this company’s bins and we love them. They are sturdy and very well made. They fold down flat when not in use which is great and are really cute too. This one for the lights comes with sturdy cardboard inserts to wind the lights on so they do not get tangled and then they all slide in the bin. Great storage option for light and we will order more.
