Size of container is about like a large tote. Love the way it goes together. Holds all my Christmas ornaments.

I absolutely hate storing delicate Christmas decorations in bins because they tend to shift and get crushed sometimes. This organizer storage box keeps everything organized and neat. My only negatives are that I wish it was a bit more sturdy because when storing this can't be at the bottom of a pile, it must be on the top to keep from crushing.

It went together super easy and holds a lot of ornaments. If you have bubble wrap some ornaments can share a compartment.

This review is for the Peyulia Christmas Ornament Storage Box, Stackable Ornament Organizer with Lid and Pockets, Side Open, 8 Drawer Trays, 128 - 3" Holiday Ornament Container. This storage box will be easy to recognize amongst the holiday tubs, but I’m so disappointed that it is NOT drawers, as described. $47 for this fabric covered box with 8 separate trays is very overpriced. Had I realized it was not drawers, I would not have ordered it. The pictures in the listing show a lower “drawer”being pulled out, but if you were to do that, the upper trays would fall below since there’s nothing to hold them in place. The cardboard inserts (see pics) are a little bit taller than the sides of the trays, so that helps take the weight-bearing off the ornaments, as long as the ornaments are shorter than the cardboard. If you have a larger ornament that is as tall as the cardboard, it’s also going to bear the weight of anything that’s on top of it. The trays stack on top of one another, so you really need to lay them all out and have the heaviest, sturdiest items stored in the lowest trays as all the weight of anything above is supported by the trays below. I thought I was moving away from ornament layers I have stacked, with cardboard separators, in a plastic bin, but it’s not so. Instead of a sturdy plastic surround, it is instead an inexpensive fabric box. Hmmm. I do not think the trays would fit side in my plastic bin. When closing the box, the Velcro openings want to grab together, before being aligned properly from the bottom up, so it takes a few tries to get the front panel to go up evenly. I think using zippers here might have been better, or horizontal Velcro straps. The box should keep the ornaments dust-free, though not waterproof. I’ll place the box on an elevated shelf since nothing should be stacked upon it, for the safety of the ornaments within it.

I'm very happy to have freed up two large plastic storage bins by using this fabric and cardboard ornament storage box. You get 6 trays with removable cardboard dividers that allow you to configure each tray however you see fit. Since we have a lot of small ornaments and not many of which are fragile, I keep multiple ornaments in most compartments which allows me to store quite a lot. The biggest downside is that the dividers and trays are a bit floppy, so you do have to support the trays from the bottom or hold on two sides. I hope that I'll remember to remind my kids of this next year so they don't accidentally spill a tray of ornaments. Also, this is a structured but soft-sided storage box, so while it can be stacked, I wouldn't stack anything heavy on top of it. I love the vibrant red color of this which will make it easy to find and identify as holiday-related in my deep, dark storage space and am happy to have all my ornaments so nicely organized into this specialized bin.

If you desperately need some ornament storage, this will do. I have several other ornament storage options, however, and this is by far the flimsiest and least useful. The good:- lots of storage; between the many trays (not drawers - I'll get to that) and dividers you can put a lot in here- easy to assemble- lightweight... And that's about it.The bad:- FLIMSY! Most of this type of fold-flat storage has sturdy cardboard covered by fabric. I'd say the stuff inside this one is more like cardstock you could put in your printer, and the dividers are maybe like the cardboard that comes inside a new men's shirt or a set of tights, very flimsy. (FWIW, my favorite of my storage options uses foam instead for the dividers)- Weird design. At first, you think, "oh, a lid, but then you open the front to pull the drawers out." WRONG. It really only functions as a box. The front is held closed with velcro on the inside of the sides, but that means shoving/wiggling it in there next to the sides of the trays, and ripping it away from the velcro when you want to open it. It's more practical to just lift the lid and take out the trays from the top, because....- They are definitely TRAYS not DRAWERS. The drawer-like feature was the thing I was most interested in here, but they do not function as drawers, because there are no shelves that they sit on. The image on the listing where the drawers are all partially pulled out is literally impossible to do in real life, because there is then nothing under the drawer above it. Having a pull tab on the front of a tray does not a drawer make...- Small storage holes. This last one may or may not be an issue for you, but it was for me. The drawers are fairly shallow. They're good enough for the regular bulk average-sized plain bulbs that make up the "background" of our decorations, but I'd say at least half of our fancier bulbs or special decorations could not fit at all, even by taking out dividers, because they'd be too tall. But we have 3 trees, one of which is 9' tall, so this could be an us problem. If you're young and don't have 25 years worth of ornaments you've collected from travel, or precious family heirloom ornaments to protect, this could work for you. If you're looking for something more sturdy, spacious, or that will last, skip it.
