This tree stand is basic. Easy to put together and worked beautifully even with dogs around. It held up until I took the tree down about three weeks. I will put it away (easy to store) until next year

Okay, so I've never had a tree stand before, but this one looked good. There is a small pin in the center or the base, which I think is a good idea to stabilize the tree, but keep in mind that you need to drill a little hole in the trunk. My tree is about 7 feet tall, and the trunk is quite thick—the tree drinks about 1 quart (or more) of water per day, so I add water in the morning and evening; this way the tree is never dried out, but if you want a bigger tree, keep in mind you might want a bigger water reservoir. Overall, looks solid enough, keeps the tree stable

I was worried that my artificial tree might not fit and would topple over, but measurements were accurate and it worked out great. It's much prettier than plastic or other stands I've seen.

Used on small trunk tree, held steady and stright, easy to add water too.

The tree wouldn't stand. Ad says it would fit up to an 8 ft tree max we got a 6 ft tree. Made sure the trunk was centered and secured well but it just kept tipping over with the stand... only way it would stand was when we would hold it up
