I was surprised by the quality. Well worth the $25 I spent.Screw is metal and fits neatly over the “trunk†of my artificial tree. Simply attach and leave it in when you put it away to be all ready for next year. Other components are also metal. There is a plastic plug if you are using a clamp on star and the cone is heavy plastic with a metal insert for the threads. All of it looks like it should last many seasons.My star is a “stem†type and I ended up putting about 2 wraps of electrical tape around the star’s stem to make it bigger to fit better. There is a keyway on the hole you put it into and you can slide a toothpick in and break it off to make it perfectly snug.Took about 2 minutes to assemble and put in the tree. Taping and checking fit of the star took another 3-5 minutes, but would have been 30 seconds if I had done it before putting it on the tree.

Fantastic little device , no more toppled, toppers, that should be sold everywhere. They sell Christmas trees, but isn’t.After researching multiple different versions of this, I decided to go with the one with the greatest amount of reviews, even though it was a little more expensive, but well worth it.Easy installation, it comes with all the different pieces. You will need no matter what you’re topping your tree with, I had to use the shortest, adapter piece On my 7 1/2 foot artificial tree. But what is really impressive is if you use a fresh cut tree without a perfect trunk there is a pivot piece that makes sure your topper is perfectly straight

Pretty sturdy, assembly a little difficult due to lack of instruction details but once you figure them out, it worked great!

My family does not have a ' traditional ' tree topper. Our poor snowman needs extra support to be able to stand upright rather than looking like he's melting. I have used plastic bags in the past but the struggle is real when getting the poor guy to stand at attention.I was on the hunt and came across this device and decided that this little gizmo just might solve my problem. The versatility is great, ease of use with just simple picture instructions.It was a breeze and looks great, Would recommend for those with the traditional to like us the untraditional decorative theme.

It has not very good instructions and I couldn't get it to work for any of my tree toppers. It has to be tightened down which is next to impossible. After a few hours of frustration I put it back in the box and sent it back. I purchased another kind that had the ends curl up a little which kept my toppers securely on the tree. I do like how this one and my new one screw onto the tree. That's why the one star. Otherwise I would have given it no stars.

I have a new artificial tree this year. It is a gorgeous, full tree, but unlike my old one, you can’t manipulate the branches as well. There was nothing sturdy enough at the top to hook my star to. The star is heavy, and I tried everything to hold it in place. I even resorted to sticks and twist ties. The star kept leaning forward and sideways more all the time. It looked horrible! I found this invention on Amazon, and it arrived at my door in just a couple of days. It went on easily. I love that the top tilts, so you can easily straighten your topper once it’s in place. It comes with a few different attachments to accommodate different style toppers. An AWESOME invention!

Great for any tree topper.If you don't have crazy kittens then this is perfect and sturdy.It was our kittens first Christmas so we had to secure the base of our star to the fake tree for extra stability, which made it completely immovable / indestructible.

I have an artificial tree with flimsy branches that are good enough for hanging ornaments, but not stable enough to keep a topper upright (any attempt to put a topper on a top branch would result in the branch bending over completely and the topper falling off). I came across this product while trying to look for a solution and decided to give it a shot. Very satisfied with the product; it does the job perfectly, feels very sturdy, and I love the fact that it comes with multiple attachments for multiple topper types. This should be a standard companion for anybody with an artificial tree.

Works great but it really should have proper instructions on how to mount it in your tree. Took me a while to figure it out so I deducted one star. I guess I'm not as smart as the other people here since nobody else seemed to complain about this. :)
