Came charged n ready to run. Started right up, left battery tender on over night just to make sure it was fully charged, 1 week in no issues, running 2 light bars LED headlights, taillights, and blinkers.

Had a problem where the quad would not get 14v of charge. Tried replacing stator, rectifier, checking the wiring, fuses, all sorts of things. The new stator and rectifier were both chinese crap so it didn't make it better but actually worse. I had to remove the battery in order to do something, (it was also chinese, a different brand not this one) and the terminals broke. Ordered this one and once it came I could automatically tell this one was way better quality. The terminals were a much better design and quality, they won't break as easy. Anyways I installed the battey and checked the charging voltage and right away I was getting 14.3-14.4v. At first it starts at 13v and then goes up to 14.4 in a couple of seconds. And if you're wondering or think that 14.4 is too much, its not. The range of this quad is somewhere to around 14.5v. Great battery!

Works good, but keep it charged. Dont let it sit too long without putting a low amp charge on most of the time.

If your going to use this in a DRZ400 you need to use your old mounting bolts. But other than that, It's a good value. I would buy it again.

Battery did not last. Worked for a couple months then nothing. Even tried to charge it with the correct charger for this type of battery. No go. Took it to a battery shop. Was told 'you have a bad battery'. Oh well.

Battery has just over 52% of its factory capacity and it is supposedly new. Buy from somewhere else. I purchased item for a drz400 advertised 7ah battery and it has 3.7ah on a 3a discharge. Always test within the return period.

The battery came well packaged. Although it had about a 90% charge, I put a charger on it for about 30 minutes. I've gone through 4 batteries in my 2004 DRZ400S since the original YUASA lead acid failed and have come to the conclusion that none of them are going to last very long in the DRZ. The DRZ's battery box is too small for a battery of adequate size to crank it unless it is in top shape and charge. I've tried the Vietnamese DELCO glass mat battery that you add the electrolyte and that failed after a year. My last battery was a Bikemaster lithium which worked well for the first year but failed a few days after it's 2 year warrantee. Faced with buying another $75 lithium, I decided to try this $30 battery and just buy a new one when it shows signs of weakening. It fit the bike but I couldn't side mount the cables as the terminals are not high enough. It cranked the bike about as fast as any of them when they were new. Will just have to see how long it lasts. BTW, I've got dongles on all of my motorcycles, snowmobiles, and ATV and charge them every month in the off seasons, so my DRZ batteries didn't die out of neglect.
