The picture shows how it came out of the package. Depending on the use of the fringe ribbon you may need to iron it. If you do iron it do it in a wool setting. Cotton was too hot and melted the ribbon. I will cut it with a hot tool so I am not concerned with fraying.

I make denim aprons and trim with ric rac. This arrived very wrinkled and cannot be ironed as it melts. Will use it for other crafts or would ask for a refund.

Was very stiff polyester. One was in two pieces and ends frayed easily. Careful ironing as it melts with high temps.
