This has some weight and flies well. My dog has had a great time chasing it. She a lab puppy who also loves to chew. She has tried to chew this and she has not damaged it at all. It is very durable. The inner disc is a hard plastic and the ribbed area is a softer silicone that is easier on her teeth. Great product. Note—it says it’s a medium, but it’s the perfect size for my xtra large 90 lb lab.

Do not snooze on this frisbee if your dog loves frisbees! Our pup would chew a hole in the middle of kong brand frisbees and they always seemed a bit on the heavy side. This frisbee is fantastic- it’s mid-weight, the plastic frisbee that acts as the skeleton is both durable but a bit flexible- but it hasn’t broken when our pup gets it in her mouth funny. The rubber bumper around the outside is really nice. We do have one spot where the rubber has come apart but it happened on an individual line of the rubber so it doesn’t affect anything else. We just bought our second in case something does happen to our original but we’ve had it a couple months and it’s still going strong!!

It is def stronger than most frisbees but my dog likes to bring it inside and tear the pieces apart. Be careful bc it is def a chocking hazard.

This toy is very durable. It appears to be a long lasting toy. I don’t throw it like a frisbee I throw it on edge and it rolls. The dogs love chasing it especially when it hits bumps and jumps up. Great toy that keeps them thoroughly engaged.

I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to make this information public:I have enjoyed using these to play with my 90 lb German Shepherd during the last year. I don't throw it to fly but toss it like rolling a frisbee, the shepherd fetches it, and we play tug for about 30 seconds before I repeat the process. We do this for 15 minutes in the morning 5 days a week for the last year and we go through one of these Chuckit Flyer Toys every month before the warping of its shape starts to hinder its rolling movement. The first picture is an older disc with the result of 1 month's worth of this activity. However, the Chuck it brand Flyer Toys I recently purchased (I've bought two in the last 14 days) have cracked and splintered minutes into our playtime. The cracking and splintering depicted in the second picture occurred 90 seconds into our playtime. I figured that this just may have been a single bad disc so I went to a local big chain pet store and purchased another. To my dismay, the second one noted in picture 3 cracked and splintered the same way within minutes into our playtime.I examined the discs more carefully, compared them with the old one in the first picture, and it appears they have used a different plastic underneath the flexible soft rubber covering. If you notice with the 1st picture showing the old disc purchased in February 2018, there is no cracking or splintering of the plastic at all. Just teeth marks. Picture 2 shows the disc I purchased recently online and it displays the splintering and cracking most noted. The 3rd picture shows a disc I purchased from the local pet store. What is most disturbing about this behavior is how quickly and how much splintering occurred. I worked as a veterinary tech while at university and have seen what the ingestion of plastic can do to a dog's stomach and intestines. It is my recommendation that this toy is avoided until the manufacturer addresses this issue.

Our pit mix loves this toy. We had never had him try to catch anything before. After some practice he was able to catch it quite often. He loves chasing it when it rolls downhill. Eventually, he chewed off most of the colored layer making it much lighter. When we got a new one he didn't want to catch it because it's heavier than the chewed up one. Lesson learned--we'll replace this one before it gets worn down.

Meu pet adorou, resistente, não sofreu qualquer dano com as mordidas.

I have a Staffie-Am Staff cross and she chews all of her toys, but the ChuckIt brand toys stand up to her rough play very well. We found a frisbee out on a walk and she loved playing with it, but destroyed it within a week, so I looked on Amazon to see if ChuckIt made one. It is quite dear, but given how much enjoyment she has had from it, I'd say it was worth the cost. If you have a dog who loved to chase a thrown stick and love to chew them, give this a go, it is safer, cleaner and gives you a workout too!

Excellent toy for my active border collie, great to chase and durable. She chews it but has not damaged it.
