Love these. I'm all about 'big earring looks' and these certainly fit the bill. They slide on easily but fit totally securely once on (there is no bending or flexing these, you just start at a narrow part of the ear cartilage and shimmy it on). Silver shine is authentic. I wear them all day, and I would say they are *not* in any way 'uncomfortable', but at the end of a long day, my ears are ready for a break. This is not a criticism of the product -- anyone who loves big earrings or wants to start with bigger looks should know this is par for the course. Will definitely order these in gold.
