Your cart is empty.The Ciata Saf-T-Brace allows you to install a ceiling fan or light fixture without accessing attic spaces, and allows for secure attachment to an existing ceiling joist. The Saf-T-Brace can be installed on full ceilings through holes large enough to accommodate the mounting box, making it ideal for new construction and remodeling projects. Additionally, the bracket also includes a Saf-T cap to protect studs and wires during drywall installation and painting. For ease of installation, you can position the electrical box anywhere on the bracket depending on needs. The Saf-T-Brace features a heavy-duty metal electrical box with a 15.5 cubic inch wire capacity and dual mounting capability for light and heavy duty fans and fixtures. The Ciata Saf-T-Brace comes with everything you need for installation and includes a safety cap to protect studs and wires. For easy installation, other components include ground screws, wood screws, brackets, and an all-metal electrical box with six 1/2-inch knockouts for conduit or Romex connections, and also includes a Romex connector.

New location for a ceiling light. This fits between the joists, easily goes in through the standard 3 1/2 opening made in the drywall opening. One in pace just turn the center bar with your hand and final tightening with an open end wrench. Attach the outlet box per directions. Very strong works excellent for a ceiling fan or light. Highly recommend. No special skills required. If you’re handy you can do this.

All of my bedrooms came with a simple mounting bracket for standard light fixture. I considered attempting to attach a ceiling fan but just didn't feel confident that it was sufficient. When I found this Saf-T-Bar and saw that it can be installed through the existing hold in the ceiling with no tear-out/repair I decided to give it a go. The bracket is easy to install and way more sturdy than the original I replaced. Overall, I highly recommend this ceiling fan mounting bracket.

I bought a used one and the magnet was missing. I didn’t want to wait for an exchange. I’ll check the contents next time.
