This is a complete set! Every thing I needed for trimming my dogs. The scissors were sharp, and the curved ones are very useful. I had no idea they were what I needed. I really wish the shears were a little sharper, but it could be the thick hair of my dogs. I have no complaints at all. My dog's haver never looked so good. Great value for the money and it comes with a case to keep them all together!.

I almost didn't buy these since I had tried Gitmar's and only one of the scissors was sharp enough to cut my dog's hair. These were less money and I was afraid I would be stepping down in quality and cutting ability when I needed to step up. SO glad I took the chance - thank you Amazon for making returns easy, which makes me braver. These scissors have more weight and a solid feel. It makes them easier to hold as well as more comfortable to use; my hand did not get sore from trimming out my dogs HUGE (half St Bernard/half poodle) feet either. I have used all except the thinning shears. Each scissors opens and closes smoothly and cuts well. At first I thought the cleaning cloth was silly but having it in the kit makes me a better scissors owner because it is so easy to wipe them clean after use.

These are a good value for at- home cuts, but the scissors can get dull after a few full cuts. Sizes are good & comfortable in hand. Curve is slight, wish it was more for a teddy cut. They are heavy-er which adds to it's durability. Easy to clean & has a polish cloth included. I took them to a knife sharpening shop near me & they recommended just getting a new set when the first one dulls. It would cost more for sharpening than a new set. So, this is my second set.

The set contains all the necessary tools for removing mats, making the fur smooth and silky. All scissors have safe knoby rounded blade tips, the curved blade scissor is a blessing for removing mats. Other scissors allow making a site look neat. The comb has nice rounded teeth, and the dog doesn't mind it, while getting lots of undercoat material removed. Materials and finish seem of high quality. Blades are very sharp. Scissors came with slightly loose hinges. It wasn't obvious that a proprietary nut tightening tool is included in the kit. A small instruction pamphlet describing the kit, and giving grooming advice would make this kit an even greater value. Also, watch out for the little stopper screw between scissors finger loops to come loose. One of mine fell out. Fortunately I noticed that, and screwed it back in.

The scissors are nice but not a dependable scissor for trimming dog fur. The edge was not sharp.

Hab es bestellt für unsere Katze.Klingen sind scharf und alle scheren schneiden gut. Ebenfalls klasse das alle spitzen abgerundet sind sodas Verletzungen kaum möglich sind. Bin zufrieden
