This is going to be my last Fax Server, not just because the quality of the product, but their unbeatable customer service and prompt tech support!!Being a medical practice with 8 locations, we have tremendous amount of documents going through fax.We tried Fax server on Windows 2008 server at first, then Windows 2016. The performance was inconsistent at its best. We subscribed to online fax service which worked well, however, with the large volume the cost added up very fast. So I started looking for a better solution. That’s when I stumbled upon CimFAX. I was not sure purchasing a piece of equipment not well known, but it seemed well suited for my need, so I took a chance and ordered CimFAX C5 model from Amazon. It has been the best decision I have made.Initial setup is very simple; basically plug it into your network, then install the driver. That’s it.Multi-user friendly: we have 15 employees using this server at the same time without a problem.Server and Remote Desktop ready: All employees in my corporation use remote desktop to work in the server. And it’s very simple to set that up too. Once I installed the driver into the Windows server 2008, and set up individual users using administrator account, everyone using that server immediately have access to CimFAX. Later we added a 2nd server that is Windows 2016 based. I repeated the installation I did with the Windows 2008, but this time it did not work. I proceeded to contact Tech support from CimFAX. They responded very quickly and even remote into my server to set up the system for me. Extremely friendly and professional.We have been using the CimFAX machine since March 2019. And basically trouble free. Occasionally the server became unresponsive; we are not sure if it’s the CimFAX or my network problem, but it only takes a simple unplug and plug back in to fix the problem.Lacking of a cover page function is a problem for us, but CimFAX allows you to load a cover page, and then load the document you want to fax. Therefore it’s not a really big problem. But a cover page function will make it even better.One thing always bothers our staff when they first use it: the user name is case sensitive.My suggestion is that: if any problem or question you have CimFAX tech support will be there for you to hold your hand. You don’t need to struggle on your own, that’s a rarity in tech world.Very happy with this product!

I bought this product after my Windows Small Business Server stopped accepting faxes. After much troubleshooting with the SBS server, I found this. First, it is easy to implement. Plug in, connect to the device and configure the network settings. Last, install one application on all user’s computers who can now right click on a document and select fax or use the traditional Windows File – Print – select fax printer. Please note! The five users is five connections to the device. I also setup a fax Exchange mailbox and forwarded all faxes to that email. Then mapped all users to that shared mailbox. Get the right product for your users. Tech support was great! Called and emailed a few times and were very helpful and resolved my issues. Wonderful product. Don’t waste your time with a traditional fax – this is much better.

Migrated a client from SBS2011 server. This a true fax server in a box that is simple to use. Doesn't offer cover sheet functionality (work around exists) and only forwards fax as pdf via smtp (we have need of tif) but met other needs

Great Fax Server. Technical support is second to none. I would highly recommend those that should need such a device that they be your first choice.

Working as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at an independent pharmacy, we were using an HP Multifunction machine to receive faxes, as faxing is HIPPA Compliant in addition to eScribe software. Some prescribers still chose to fax your prescription over (My advice - get a new Doctor...). Unfortunately, our pharmacy system (Rx40) does not support incoming faxes as prescription images so they must be printed first, scanned, and then entered into the system. Anytime our machine went down, we were absolutely offline and this became a serious problem because we receive anywhere from about 100+ prescription sheets per hour from a local institution on a daily basis. This rapid use eventually took its toll on our machine and it finally gave out.In a frantic, we looked at our options and quickly bought another cheap laser fax machine. Same story..it gives out months later. Then we begin to look towards at receiving our faxes electronically and CimFax came up on Amazon.I will say initial setup is pretty crazy when done by yourself. Thankfully CimFax has the best technical support Rep ever to help setup your machine for you. Her name is Anrey and she is WONDERFUL!!!!! She got us up and running in no time flat using TeamViewer and our finally - our faxes are set to automatically print out for us and then we scan them in the system. It's been a fantastic transition and well worth the price.Highly Recommended!!! Thank you again for all of your help, Anrey!!
