The box is decent quality and much less expensive than the options at the big Home improvement store. The cord quality is good. I ran it for 3 hours today while my power was out, with about 5k watts load. The cord didn't get warm. Not bad.

This cord and receptacle box is awesome. The build quality is superb, almost like it was built by an electrician that knows what quality is. It’s exactly what I needed to connect my generator to my outside breaker panel. I bought a 220-30A breaker to install and mounted this box next to my panel. Now when the power goes out I just flip off the main breaker and flip on the new breaker. I plug in the generator and start it up. Shazam, power the house. I you need to connect a generator to a house, buy this one.

This was a nice combination of the cable and the connector box I would offer a third item in the kit, a “lockout kit†would be a great package as well.Still needed to purchase a four pin L 14 conversion cable to my 3 pin generator, but works excellent.

Purchased this kit based on reviews and was not disappointed. Solid product that works well. Very well made. Enabled me to power my house off generator in the event of power outages several times already with easy! 10/10 would buy again.

This kit is fantastic. The price is phenomenal and the quality is great. The cable is very heavy duty and they offer it in every size you could need. The inlet box is also constructed very well. Both ends are twist lock, with an additional screwing collar on the inlet box side, the screwing collar is the weakest point of the kit but it's just an extra precaution, it still functions as it should. If I ever have another need I will 100% purchase this kit again.
