I bought this for my water distiller, and it works amazingly! I'm very satisfied. As one of the reviewers that I watched before purchasing said, you only have to put it in, and it does all the work. There's no scrubbing—just put it in, and in the morning, it looks brand new. I just rinsed it out, and it was ready to go!

This will clean your distilled water maker very well. The directions say to leave it the cleaner/water standing overnight (paraphrasing) but I've found that if you put boiling water and the cleaner into the machine and use a scrub brush it will clean it just as well and much faster. Always add the cleaner to the water, but never the water to the cleaner. I would also use it in a well ventilated area as you don't want to inhale any of the dust of the crystals or any gas that is created when it comes in contact with the water. I use distilled water for my C-PAP machine and in humidifiers throughout my house, especially in the winter.

I use this to clean off mineral deposits on my pet water fountain and coffee pot. It works well if you let it soak in hot water for a couple of hours and then clean it after. I feel safer using this to clean my pet water fountain and coffee pot than harsh chemicals.

I've been able to clean lime, silica, sulfides and other hard left over minerals from my distiller. I don't even have to use that much, and the instructions on the label are easy to follow. I wish the container was better, as an open face plastic jar dosn't do much for keeping moisture from gathering on it, and the powder can stick to it and really cause problems from there; like the top not screwing on right, and powder eventually spilling from it.

This jar was a bit on the pricey side, but a great product. I use it as a refull jar now, as it is more manageable than the 25 lb bucket! I use it in my toilets, my dishwasher, my distiller, just about anything you need to clean without scrubbing. We have a LOT of lime in our water, and this removes it beautifully. Highly recommend this product.

I use this to clean my water distiller. Within 5 minutes I see a huge difference. After 10 minutes the stainless steel interior is spotless. Definitely worth it.

Use to clean my water distiller and does an excellent job. The scale settles to the bottom and all of it cannot be scrubbed completely clean. Use this product once every couple months and every bit is removed.

Using it to clean a distilled water tank. Does the job much better than the sample that came with the distiller (different brand). Left the tank pristine. Would definitely buy again.

Works almost immediately. Distilled 10 consecutive 4 litre refills over 2 days (40 litres). There was a substantual calcium buildup where the element is. Direction state to add 3 tablespoons to hot water and soak overnight. Soon as I stirred about 5 minutes late the buildup was gone.Good product that works well.

Does a great job to remove mineral build-up in a couple of old, very encrusted, room humidifiers. Two comments: Only moderately worked after overnight, worked really well after 24+ hours. Instructions say "add hot water . . . Next add 3 tablespoons of descaler". It really should say something like: "add 3 tablespoons of descaler to nnn ozs (or ml) of very hot water'. Do we need 3 tblsp to 250 ml, or to 500 ml, or to 100 ml?Definitely recommended, does a really good job with room humidifiers!
