I was taking my mother to a function of her women’s club, which was an annual tea, and everyone wears a hat. This was difficult for me as most hats do not fit my large head. I have a large head and not all fat hats will fit me You’d think Since my head is so big I must have a bigger brain but no, I don’t. It seems to be knocking around in all that empty space up there, making me make stupid decisions more often than brilliant lol. Anyway I have short fine hair and I can’t wear a hard plastic headband because with 15 minutes, my head is screaming out in pain. This hat comes with a headband like that, but also a large clip if you prefer that way of holding the hat on. But with my short fine hair, it was hard to keep it in place. I ended up bailing on the tea, but I’m keeping it and hoping that when I have a chance to use it, I’ll figure out a way to keep it held on better. for the price It is a cute hat.

This is a lovely hat for a vintage look; the color is a nice 'dusty' rose/pink, and the embellishment isn't too big or too small. The only thing I would have liked is if the alligator clip underneath could somehow be swiveled so the included headband can be fastened with the hat worn centered on the back of the crown of the head instead of just on the side of the head. No matter since I can certainly wear it using just the clip without the headband and put it where I want.

This photo of this fascinator showed it was really pretty, classy, and a timeless design. To its credit, the design was really great in person and the hat portion itself was a nice, sturdy felt material. Unfortunately, there were quality control issues with it. The color in person did not match the photo and actually—the blue on the hat and the blue on the bow and lace were different. You can see in the photo it looks nothing like the photo. Sent it back, maybe the other colors don’t have this issue.
