This product is great for the die hard ice fisherman. When you have lots of gear to haul, it takes the preassure of tour arms and shoulders. I'm able to pull a sled full of gear and the shanty with ease. Now I can cover more distance and move around more often. The load gets spread to your waist and shoulders causing less fatigue. I definitely recommend this product. Ordering from Amazon was a snap, and the price was cheaper than the large outdoor store.

Used the harness on a Montana elk hunt. Didn’t have snow so we used backpacks to take gear to our camp. Packing the loads gave me an aching back. I eventually pulled an empty sled to camp, then pulled the sled with gear out over dry ground. My legs were tired, but my back was okay. I thought the straps were too long, so I folded them one-half the length and seemed to work better.

replace the carabiners as soon as you get it, they will straighten out on any uphill pull. although I got this $20.00 cheaper at Home Depot

Just got it today. Cant wait to use it, to pull firewood on my sled. Unfortunately it doesn't come with eye bolts or washers to hook up. Which is inconvenient for me as I live 15 minutes from town offgrid. And was already in town today. So now a extra trip is needed to get all pieces together.

After many years of pulling my arms half out of their sockets with a simple bridle pull cord, I am totally pleased with this product. I have a fairly heavy ice fishing shelter and when collapsed I load it down with a heavy ice auger and other gear. Even an inch of new snow on the ice turns the act of "getting out on the lake" into an excuse to sing "The Volga Boatman." This harness removes all the stress from the shoulders and has made the whole ice fishing experience far more pleasant.

This harness places most pull on waist until you lean into it. Looking forward to using with a simple sled setup.
