Impressed with the quality of the metal for the price. Heavy enough to withstand wind across the ice, and despite the rod having free motion up and down it is sturdy and the flags are reliable when there’s a bite!

work great once you get the weight and rod balanced had flag after flag and only missed one fish where as with tip ups i would have not gotten as many fish or flags i would buy them again

The tip ups came in a timley manner and for the most part everything was in good condition. The only negative thing was that there was a little rust on one of the tip ups but it wasn't a big deal. I would purchase from this company again!

Will be a good addition to my gear and if it works good will get another one and get rid of tip up's only thing is use duct tape to attach rod holder to pole

Although easy to assemble it doesn't work. The velcro straps to hold the metal bracket on the rod do not securely do so allowing the rod to slip or rotate. The triggering mechanism didn't work well either. It is a decent rod holder for ice fishing.

Tip up fishing with the thrill of setting the hook and reeling in the fish on a normal ice rod! I have 4 and won't use regular tip-ups anymore.Update: everything shows using a spinning reel, I have found a baitcaster to be the ticket. You can apply slight resistance on the spool which insures the flag will trip and avoids potential line tangles that you can get from a spinning reel.. I would rate a 6 if I could, I have 6 of them now, I dont even bring my "normal" tip-ups on the ice anymore.

You’re instructions match the quality of your product. Hooks, divots and complete setup were backwards as per diagram and instructions. I am very frustrated with your product. I have researched and cannot come up with a conclusion. Why are both hooks in the opposite direction? Is this a machine malfunction or you are just ripping people off? Even the washers are junk. Thank you for wasting my time and money. I will not recommend you.
