11JUN23 - Received the Clarifion plug in air purifier today. Immediately read the instructions, plugged it in my bedroom, and set it for high. Before I go to bed tonight, I'll relocate it to my living room. I like the blue light; the sound level on high (to me) is quite bearable. The item was well packaged but it did come in a larger box with other items I had purchased from Amazon. I paid $35.84 with a 10% discount for anyone comparing prices. Since I only just received this, I'll write another review in a few weeks to let folks know how this mini air purifier works out.18JUL23 - Noticed a price jump to $39.99 and no discount today. Been using this Clarifion DSTx purifier for a few weeks now and it has worked better than expected. I do not have allergies but I do have a dry cough that would occasionally wake me up in the middle of the night. I've been using this unit in my bedroom and would run it on high, with the higher blue light setting, from the time I woke up in the morning to about 10pm at night. Then I would unplug it from the wall and go to bed. I actually sleep through the night without coughing. I don't know how to explain that there is a distinct difference in the air quality after this unit is used. The air smells fresher and, after taking a really deep breath, it's like the inhaled air reaches all the way down to my toes. Doesn't make sense, I know. However, this mini air purifier DOES work quite well and I do recommend it highly. Since you're probably asking why do I unplug it before going to sleep? The first few days I let it run all day and night. Then I went back and read all the reviews. Well, a lot of those reviews stated some folks experienced smudge marks on the unit as well as their wall outlet and showed photos as proof. I got the impression that folks were letting the unit run 24-hours a day, 7 days a week most likely on the highest setting. Because of the smoke drifting down southward from the Canadian wildfires, I can see why this unit was run constantly. But since I didn't want to experience any smudges nor take the chance that this unit would burn itself out, that's why I turn it off, unplug it from the wall, and let it "rest" until I plug it in the next day. I'd rather be safe than sorry, but the unit does work and I want it to last a good long while. Good seller, highly recommend this unit.

I’ve had Allergies from early memory & they are the Bain of my existence. That said, there have many air filters, ionizers of many shapes, sizes and cost. This works better than I ever thought.After running a few hours, on high fan, the dust, doggie orders, general smell was a huge change. Have tried different settings to see what happened. Now alternating between high no light and medium no light. I sleep comfortably. Monitoring dust remainder on furniture. There is nothing wrong with the light. I already have a night light in the room. I just ordered 3 more + filters for other rooms in the house. Could be buying more. Such a great product!!!!UPDATEI have purchased another pkg of 3 as one of the filters is needed at the parents house. Already have places for the other two. I hope they last forever!!!! In the midst of a bad allergy system they are a necessity for me & I’ll keep replacing them as needed.

This little filter was bought and placed in the nearest outlet to a litter box as a temporary solution until a larger room air purifier could arrive, but this little filter was able to clean the air more than what I expected. It has multiple settings, so if you don’t like the noise you can still have, a larger volume of filtration without as much sound. It also has a back light option that you can use or not. It worked really well in a regular outlet and is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional now that I have a larger air purifier I have change the filter on the small one and use it in one of the bedrooms , I liked it enough to purchase a second one for another bedroom. Amazon sells the filters and they are super easy to change out.

With the small size, I am amazed the crude that is caught in the filter. I do stop and clean the filters after 4-6 weeks with an old toothbrush. When I am not able to clean and reuse, I did purchase several filters to slip into the ionizer. I have 4 now going 24/7 and I like them. I set them on high, so I can use the humming as a white noise in the master bedroom. It's been over a year since my original group of these 5" X 9" ionizers has been running with no problems whatsoever! They DO work well!

Received on 09/30/2024.It worked until today 01/22/2025. The fan/motor doesn't come on. The only thing that works is the lights. I hear a humming sound.02/22/2025 Still waiting for credit or replacement.

Purchased 3, for different rooms. One filter was noiser than others and couldn't be adjusted. Instructions very easy. I like that instructions are imprinted on filter housing. When first placed (after 1 hour) room -air noticibly cleaner and fresher feeling; dust level after 4 weeks in closed (my test) room reduced noticably. Has cooling effect as a lovely side effect. Replaced filters after 6 weeks w/ recommended blue-boxed filters. Don't seem to work as well. Dust level in closed (test) room has increased, slightly.

I was a little hesitant when I first saw this item but, after receiving it and plugging it in, giving it a couple of days to adjust, we didn't think there was much of a difference until my Son who is allergic to Cats was not sneezing. this product is well worth the purchase. I'm thinking of putting them all around the rooms that the Cat uses.

We bought these portable air cleaners because we were coughing and had stuffy noses all the time. It seems to work as we're not feeling those affects any more. But, there are no cleaning instructions. We can't afford to buy new ones when the overall effectiveness finishes.
