My kid decided to learn Clarinet, and with that comes maintenance.This kit is a great way to just jump straight into everything. LiterallyIt has basic versions of everything you need, and then you can improve from here.Without breaking down each component, it just is good enough to take care of the clarinet, without being too difficult.But it does feel very beginner, like it might not be the best cork grease, but it works.

I really like the case itself - it is semi-rigid with a nylon zipper, it has a carbon fiber like look to it and it is the perfect size to fit in just about any clarinet case. The swab and the cleaning cloths are soft and lint free, the cord on the swab is long enough to make it to the other end of my clarinet, the tooth pads are kinda thin compared to the ones I use on my saxes - but then you're not supposed to have your teeth on the mouthpiece of a clarinet anyway! The two brushes are pretty decent and nice to have, I thought the thumb cushion was a bit much - until I tried it. Now I won't take it off, it really takes the pressure off the edge of my thumb. The reed cases are OK, but I'll probably never use them - I have a separate case for them. It came with enough cork grease to last a few lifetimes, and the screwdriver felt a bit chintzy, but I have to be honest - it fit the pivot screws perfectly and rolled nicely through my fingertips. All in all, it's a nice little kit that should be included in every clarinet case.

I actually have no idea if this is a quality kit or not - but it had what I needed. I am new to Clarinets, so I am still learning how to care for them. This kit made it pretty easy to be like "Oh, I probably have whatever I need to do this!"All the pieces feel good, like they are the proper item. I used this to clean my clarinet and it looks nice and still sounds great.

The set is well-organized and easy to take on the go. It adds a new level to cleaning my clarinet. The cloths work well, as do the brushes. Overall, a great kit. Would recommend!
