Well-designed swab. Does not snag on the metal tubes inside the instrument's bore. String is long enough to fit through a clarinet in A (and obviously through a Bb clarinet, which is shorter).

I am a band director, and these are better quality than the felt ones that come with most instruments. They work for clarinet and sax.

The cloth is soft and absorbent. The weighted string is easy to drop thru your flute or clarinet. Very reasonable cost, and well worth the money.

Works well on my wood tenor recorder.

My wife is pretty particular about taking care of her clarinet, so I was excited to get these cleaning cloths for her. Unfortunately, they're not to her liking. She complained that the cloth was too thick, causing it to catch on the inner screw, and that the 'strap' was just a bit too short to easily pull the cloth through the clarinet. They're okay, but she wasn't completely happy with them.

The pack of four swabs surprised me at first as seeming much larger than traditional swabs that I've used - I guess I'm old school because the swab I've been using is similar to the first one I used 45 years ago when I started playing. These are soft and absorbent, not sure if they're actually silk, and if they are they feel more like cotton to the touch, but not cheap, and definitely sturdy. The string is long, the weight drops easily, and pulling through is no problem.

Why lie about your product material? Microfiber can only do so much for cleaning instruments but saying it's silk just to get people to buy your product is just plain wrong! If I could put no stars, I would.

The swab keeps getting stuck in my daughters clarinet.
