I actually bought this to put on the headstock of my concert size ukulele (with a nice neat hole through the headstock above the tuning machines) so I could walk around in front of a group, and outside and play songs I couldn't memorize without a stationary stand. It works well and is very sturdy. Folks were impressed with the functionality. I added a rigid plastic backing to support the pages.

The lure fit my Selmer clarinet perfectly. The adjuster to ensure the lyre can be oriented correctly is a nice touch.

Glad to find these. I bought a few and gave them out to my band mates for an outdoor event at a ball game.

Wouldn’t fit in my son’s Buffet clarinet. Ring needed to be slightly larger.

There were several things wrong with this lyre. First, the ring was difficult to slip around the clarinet. What I mean by that is that it’s too small. You have to pull the ring wider in order to get it around the clarinet. Second, the eyelets do not line up (likely due to the 1st issue of the ring being too small) so you cannot get the screw in properly. We were only able to manipulate it by using pliers. Third, the clip part of the lyre is not welded properly. Once it’s completely screwed on, the clip is off to the side of the clarinet vs facing upward. This makes it so the flip book is not where it needs to be. I thought I could tighten it a bit further to the right position, but this caused the clip to complete break off. The entire process was frustrating and I can’t even return it now that it’s broken. Purchased a Yamaha brand one that fit perfectly and with ease immediately.

Weld could be stronger. Used for marching, the weld breaks too easily.
