I bought the exact same brand and model in 2009. That crossover worked flawlessly from 2009 until about two weeks ago. So basically, the thing lasted about 13 years. During that time, I ran 2 amplifiers, two 15 inch subwoofers, and four 6 inch speakers from it. I had a 1000 watt amp pushing my speakers, and a 2600 watt amp pushing my subwoofers. I played my music very loudly for hours at least 5 times a week, and the crossover still lasted all those years. Naturally, when the crossover finally failed, I wanted the exact same model if possible. Imagine my joy when I found the same model on Amazon! I've installed the new replacement and it sounds great! I'm looking forward to another 13 years of driving my neighbors crazy when I come home blasting my music in the middle of the night. Lol. Definitely worth the money and built to last.

I purchased this MCD360 to adjust the signals going to a five channel Memphis amp, and it does a great job. There's no unwanted noises just a clean filtered signal going to the amp. The adjustments on the crossover are much better than what's on the amp so for mids and highs I set the amp on full without a filter and use the MCD360. For the sub channel I use the crossover for the low pass filter however the MCD360 does not have a sub sonic filter so I use the amps built in crossover to keep out the very low frequencies. This crossover works great and I would definitely recommend it unless you really need a sub sonic filter.

I had a american bass unit and was getting really bad frequency out from my speakers, replace the unit with another unit and still the same, turns out my taramps amps were not happy with it, untill i got this clarion and oh man the saound quality and low frequency responses are awesome, great improvement with this, just make sure u paire it with the eqs755 graphic eq, great combo all together, and it looks good too!!!

This is the Best Crossover on the Market.If You’re Reading Reviews, Don’t be Deterred by The Negative Ones...Here’s how To Avoid the Whine Noise That’s Being talked about in the (few) negative reviews:BEFORE you install The Crossover, be SURE that you DO NOT Run ANY of your RCA Cables along side your Power wire, run the power wire on The complete opposite sides of the vehicle...Then make sure your ground point is clean and free of paint...Once installed it’s Amazing, no Matter what type of music you listen to...I Make Beats (InstrumentalHQ.com) so I like my music (especially my bass) to be tight and punchy, This Gives you that Control...I do wish they’re was a way to boost 2 frequencies in the sub range at the same time...All & All it’s a Great Addition to any audio system...Well worth the money!

The casing is solid, the features are abundant, and the quality is superb. The remote also moves through the full range of your preset volume, so you can turn it all the way off if you need (and the cord from the remote is extra long). My configuration: L/R RCA from the head unit to the crossover (there's an option to split one input into front, rear, and sub!), crossover to 2 channel 800w sub amp, crossover to 4 channel 400w speaker amp. All rigged with a 1.7uF cap.This crossover does exactly what it's supposed to do. I see only one improvement:The frequencies aren't explicitly defined on the dials, though they do provide three reference points - presumably lowest, middle, and highest. Not a big deal; just requires a little more effort, moving from trunk to cabin and back, to match frequencies.Overall, a quality product. I did lots of research, all of which led me to this thing. No regrets whatsoever. My sound system is now clearer than any I've heard, and, at max volume, there's absolutely no distortion. The instructions were also surprisingly concise and well-written.Thank you, Clarion!
