This was by far one of the best gifts for my grandson he loves his logos and he loved the to put his legos on they were a great value for the money the look great, prefect size and such fun for kids and perfect compatibility with legos!

I bought the 12x 12 squares for my 5 year old grandson’s birthday. There was 8 total in the box for the price. Way better than the one piece you get from Legos for $8. He has a lot of Lego sets and he loves to build them, he wanted the different colors so he could make things seem like they were in water on sand and in grass. They were perfect and the price was better than the actual legos.

EDIT: After a very productive, very helpful conversation with the seller, I received a new set of base plates which work exactly as described and now work in the table I made to hold them for my grandson. I am very pleased with them and with the seller. The manufacturer has quality control issues as described in my original review below (I have deleted the old pictures).Original review: Very poor quality control. Bought these to use on a table I made for my grandson. The length of the plates and the alignment of the pegs gradually shifts so that from one corner to the next, you cannot put a brick across the seam between two plates. As well, in some places within the same plate, bricks will not lock on to plate because of poor peg alignment. I guess you get what you pay for - I bought cheap and I got cheap. (The first picture shows a green & blue plate along the bottom of the image lined and the next image shows them adjacent to grey and manilla plates illustrating length changes and lack of alignment - my orientation changed and consequently, so did theirs in the images).

People have complained about it not working with Lego pieces. I've not had any problem. I've only used them for building MILS plates for my Lego village. As for the comment that they are warped and the plate rises in the middle, when there is enough weight on it (more than two bricks) it will flatten out.

I wanted a lego table but didnt want to pay for a whole new thing. This worked perfect! My son was so excited to see the setup.
