I was hoping for a very good quality all metal egg beater but this is not what I got. The gears are plastic and it feels cheap.

This is a good beater. I grew up using the hand beaters. This beater works very well.

It's metal but shaky enough when I turn it that I'm afraid it's going to fall apart. It hasn't yet so after 7 months I'm giving it 4 stars, but it doesn't seem like it was built particularly well. I like it but wouldn't be surprised if it breaks tomorrow. It does the job though and works great for runnier mixes and eggs etc. Kids love it.

Total waste of money. I opened the box and turned the handle twice, only to have both beaters fall off in the box. The bottom weld did not hold, making this egg beater totally unusable (unless a welder lived in the house). If it were not so funny, I would have been angry.

I had to bend the classic egg beater in to a shape so the egg beater would work the way an egg beater should.

This beater is all metal, has great action, easy to use a must for any kitchen. It is excellent with children and cleans up easily whipping in soapy water. No energy needed, no cords and safe with little fingers. The handle is comfortable and natural to use. I give it 5 stars.

Beaters were a bit bent and its not as heavy duty as I expected. But works.
