These are pretty easy to lock the nylon strings into place once you get the hang of it. They look good, unobtrusive. I got she dark brown to roughly match the rosewood bridge. I didn’t notice any difference in the time it takes for strings to settle into tuning. They do seem a little expensive.

I have played nylon string guitars for over 60 years. These things looked interesting so I thought I would giver them a shot. I always start with the first string. I tried multiple times to get this thing to work. I tried different methods of securing the string but It would not hold. After many tries the plastic bead shot across the room never to be found again. These tghings cost enough that they should have a few spares. I can't say if they maqke any difference because I am not going to use only five. Perhaps the other five would have worked but they were a bad investment for me.

These beads cause the break angle from the tie block to the saddle to be more extreme (much like a 12 or 18-hole tie block). As such, it causes the strings to pull on the top differently (many similarities to my concert guitars with 12-hole tie blocks). I like the tone it produces, but removing the strings from the beads during a string change is a bit of a hassle. It’s worth it if you use these to preserve your tie block from wear, but may not be worth it otherwise.

Very nice design for it's function. A little pricey for what you get.

Works well. The brown colour matches the guitar bridge perfectly.

I'm so glad that I bought them now, I bought a Spanish acoustic guitar which needed restringing the one's on it were too heavy and were cutting into the bridge so I bought some lighter action strings and these beads and problems solved well once I managed to keep hold of the slippery suckers that is. They're well worth the money
