I love this thing! It's so much easier than the old style one I had. I could get a ribbon out even with clay that was a tad on the "not conditioned enough" side. I couldn't get anything out of my old one unless the clay was really soft. Just a note though, if the clay isn't conditioned enough and you stop turning it, the ribbon had a tendency to break off. Not the tools fault of course, but I got long enough ribbons to use. It cleans up easy and there is virtually no clay left inside the barrel.

Used to extrude "jellyfish tentacles" on a ceramics piece. worked well. Had to clean like all tools used with clay.

When i first received it i loved it, as was perfect for the job. Came to use it a second time and it broke, now in the bin!
