The swab definitely does its job. No complaints there. But the cord is not long enough to swab a clarinet without taking it apart. It is just barely long enough if you remove the barrel and mouthpiece. Compared with other “namebrand“ swabs, the price more than makes up for the length of the cord.

Husband and daughter both play the clarinet and they absolutely love it. They loved it so much we ordered two more. My husband swabbed his clarinet and ran it through once and it was all it took to really clean it out. But always playing it safe ran it twice.
