it was is what I was looking for. I needed a plastic pad for writing and this is the perfectproduct. I can write smoothly on it. the paper won't break. The nicest thing is that it came with a nice mouse pad. I didn't needed because I bought a large mouse pad to place my keyboard and mouse but it is nice to have an extra piece.

Desk mat unrolled properly, in the correct shape, no wrinkles or bumps. Nice color, soft and good quality feel. Excellent value and it is large enough to cover blemishes on my old desk.

This was the largest pad I could find. I had to buy 2 and cut 1 in half. I would not suggest writing on a piece of paper with this pad unless it is thick paper or a couple of sheets. It is thick enough to where the pen or pencil will go through the paper. The back of the pad is nice and prevents it from sliding around

I rolled mine out on my desk and weighted it to hold it unrolled. I put a light on the other side so I could see the reflection off the surface. This allowed me to see every little bump and rise. I used a heat gun, which is a super heavy duty blow dryer. I heated the high spots. The heat makes the material relax. I got out all the big bends, so it was sitting on the desk without weights. Then I heated the bumps. With the light is could see each bump soften and fall flat to the desk. It doesn't require all that much heat. When I was done it was flat. It took about an hour total.I bought this one because people had trouble making it flat. That meant that the material is relatively stiff, so the surface is harder than a very soft mat. This suits my need well.Mine came with a small vinyl mat and a bunch of glue dots for sticking it down.

The color is definitely true as advertised, and it is the perfect fit for my desk and mouse. It is smooth and I am happy I purchased It.

This is what I was looking for to protect our wood table when my kids are writing and coloring; however, it is really hard to unwrap and then unroll. I had it sitting under many books for several days and it still curls on the ends, risking a scratch on the table I am trying to protect. Now I have it reverse-rolled with rubber bands, hoping at some point it will actually flatten and become useful. Good idea but the packaging issues make this product difficult to actually use.
