Purchased for a design class, and loved how much it helps to keep everything to scale. Didn't quite understand how the grid fade-out worked only for diazo printing and not for regular copying, but followed online instructions to adjust background grayscale, and it worked great! The sheets are semitransparent which allows for tracing of base outlines like map surveys prior to adding finer details.

This vellum contains the qualities of a very good vellum. This vellum does not bleed to the next sheet. It is not the best vellum produced, yet has qualities I expect of a sound vellum.

This is good vellum but after using it for one year on projects, I realize the paper does not allow medium soft leads to erase cleanly. Using a hand eraser or machine eraser it will always leave a trace image of lead embedded in the paper fiber which is visible to the eye. This makes edits to drawings very difficult and unacceptable for client presentations. I sometimes need to make a final drawing by retracing the drawing on a clean sheet when preparing for client presentations.I now use this paper for worksheets and drafts and then switch to a higher quality product for final submission.

It's what I expected. Used this product over the years and find it an excellent medium for hand drawing technical schematics/diagrams.
