My book/journal arrived visibly and securely wrapped in plastic to prevent damage to its hardcover (in a beautiful dark shade of green). I couldn't help but admire it for its distinctive professional appeal. Very functional, thick, not flimsy, and works "great" w/my green fountain pen! I ordered and received the "Seashell" (light beige) book and I must say that I am VERY pleased with the quality of the paper, binding, and book itself. I believe it will last and hold-up to many notary instances/events I could travel to. I also like that it came with a pen-holder, too.

I received very much good feedback when I take my book out to Notarize. Another Notary noticed my book and like it because it’s a good size and fits in smaller bag very convenient. The cover is very sturdy and love the texture of the whole book. It has everything you need in a smaller size.

This notary journal is well made, but because it is a hard bound book and the place where the person has to sign is right next to the binding it makes it very awkward and difficult to sign.

I have been a notary for decades, but only for the last 6 years have I been an independent traveling notary. I was looking for a hard cover for times when I meet clients in hospitals or who are bedridden. Sometimes I am scrambling to get signers a solid surface to sign their document. Also, this one is a little smaller in width so it fits in my smaller bag which is always a plus. Another think I like is, this journal has space for witness signatures on the signer's line so I use less lines per signing, making the journal last longer.
