Love the dark tint but the visor keeps popping out on the right side and the visor will be dangling off of one side. When I put the original clear visor on it doesn't pop out so I think I might have a slightly defective visor. After looking at the clear and the dark visors it looks like the tabs that hold it in are molded weird on the dark visor.After sending my old one back and getting a new dark visor it works great does not pop out and super secure. The first one I got was definitely a defect. Nothing wrong with the new one.

Great shield that reduces glare and is perfect for sunrise and sunset. Much better than my original clear shield. Even fits better that the original shield.

Great option for night riding. Have the dark lense for sunny days. This one keeps me safe and protected at night. Excellent product!

I have not used it yet in humid weather, the install was a little tricky but not bad, you have to bend the pinlock insert slightly to get it in. the visor is easy to connect to the helmet. I was disappointed when I went our and noticed a scratch on the visor already. on my first trip with it, I did notice the Pinlock insert interfere slightly with my view, It was not a lot and I soon got used to it. I did notice that when the sun shine into my helmet it distorted my view slightly. I think this visor would work well under humid or rainy conditions but you should use your regular visor during sunny days

I was looking for an all gold mirror shield as my bike has many gold features. The picture does not do it justice. It is a mirror shield. You cannot see through it. I have added a photo of how it looks on my helmet.However, this shield falls somewhere between gold and turquoise. You can always see gold but often the sides and other areas are turquoise in color. I like the shield but am not a huge fan of the chameleon coloring.No fogging problems on colder daysI haven't had any major scratches from handling or washing. I wash it by hand under warm water and blot dry with a soft towel. You should be gentle anyways with shields, they are coated optical lenses and should be treated as such.The darkness of the shield is good for bright sun and dawn/dusk but I would not ride at late night. I got stuck out just a little after the sun set and it was pretty difficult to see.It has been around 1000 miles so far and I have washed it 4 or 5 times and the iridium coating has not chipped or scratched.Overall it is a great shield, that is durable (for a coated shield) and looks good.

Love the Bell helmet but the clear glass isn't practical for riding. This darker lens is perfect! It keeps the glare out of your eyes. And the helmet looks way sexier!
