Bought this saddle to do some tree work around our property and it works great i did purchase the shoulder straps which is a must if your going to plan on carrying any gear with you, im 260lbs and holds me just fine

Only used it a couple times before I opted for a manlift rather than spiking up the trees. But it worked fine and was comfortable. Seems like good value for the money. Only reason I did t rate it higher was I didn’t use it much.

Needed to climb the 50' mast on my boat. I have a Petzl rock climbing harness which is light but uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. This one has a connection point for a safety line and a bridge for the climbing line which makes it easy to swing out to the spreader tips. I have to solo climb and for me, this is definitely easier to use than a bosuns chair. The side rings on this allow me to use a flip line at the mast top so I can lean back and not just hang in the harness for a 2-hour job. Comfortable padding and decent construction. I often spend 30-minutes just trimming loose threads from newly purchased knock-off products. None of that was needed here, although there were some bar stitches that were a bit uneven. Not a big deal. Good value/quality balance. Would definitely recommend for mast or tree climbing with proper training/preparation.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I am neither a climber (either professionally or as a hobbyist) nor involved in construction. I purchased this for tree trimming on my own property. This harness arrived promptly and appears to be well made. All the webbing seems thick and very well stitched. The belt is well padded and as comfortable as can be expected. All belts and straps have sturdy metal buckles which are easy to tighten and loosen. It has 3 very heavy metal attachment rings on the front and each side (these are very thick rings that require fairly large (4 inch or so) carabiners to attach). There is a much smaller, black, metal attachment point of the back as well. There are several loops around the belt to attach tools and such. I have tried hanging from it with my full weight and it shows no signs of stress doing so. It is a fairly heavy harness, which I assume is less than ideal for sport climbing. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of this harness, especially at this price point.

Great saddle had some roof work to get done & she held up nicely . Comfortable fit the bridge was nice to have the ease of flexibility
