I use these to keep my muay thai equipment smelling decent. I drop one in each boxing glove, then one more in my equipment bag with my shinpads and headgear, and these help immensely with the sweat/mold/BO scent you typically get with gym bags. It leaves everything smelling neutral after the initial fragrance goes away after a few days, maybe more depending on your usage. These stay effective in neutralizing odors for at least a few months before needing to be replaced. Id highly recommend if you’re going to use this in a gym bags.For shoes, they work much better with less porous materials. They dont work too great with knit material that’s saturated with sweat, but they are still noticeably effective.

I actually wanted to like this alot because it is a popular brand and affordable. Im female and wear my shoes to school and that's all. The shoes smell funky but not that bad. I used 2 per shoes overnight, I would say the smell is 70ish percent gone. The smell is soft and refreshing but works way too slowly and doesnt eliminate all smells. I probably wont buy them again.

When I got them, I could smell the eucalyptus and lavender through the package, and I was excited. However, I bought them to go in my gym bag to Help with the smell of my gym shoes, because I wear Vibrams (toe shoes) to work out, and they just aren’t strong enough. They actually make it smell worse. If I had just gotten them to go into my clothes drawer or something like that, they probably would’ve been nice, but they just are not good for combating gym foot stink.
