I used this product flawlessly to line my bedroom door jam - not from weather elements... but from the animals that dwell outside my bedroom. It's not air proof but it works really good plus helps deaden some of the noise as well as some of the smells which are not bothering me now. It was simple to install and the adhesion works great - only 1 piece sometimes unsticks but for the most part I am really glad I bought this product.

The installation of insulation was almost a vacation. It was easy to trim, and works great. It’s nice and spongy and works well in hot and cool weather. No more Florida sun creeping in around the door and the A/C bill went down after installation in the front and rear doors. You can either keep it double width or peel them apart into individual strands. I did individual so I could do both doors with one package.Bugs don’t care it much though. Something about freedoms of movement, I guess.

Sticky loses grip in a short period after installation. I am really sorry it fell off because it was thick and easy to put up.

These peeled the very next day. Very easy to apply but the sticky tape is not strong enough. The thickness also can cause it to be more difficult to close your door.

UPDATE and lowering my review from 2 stars to 1 star. I doesn't deserve 1 star! HORRIBLE, useless product. And shame on the sound proof video guy for recommending this crap! The part that did initially stick is already coming loose from my door frame. Note: I did clean the door frame very well prior to installation as instructed. Even used alcohol wipes after washing with soap and water beforehand. This is a HORRIBLE product and I am surprised by all of the positive reviews which is the reason I purchased this crap. My reviews are honest, so if you buy this crap like I did due to those positive reviews, you will likely be disappointed (maybe mine was just old or refurbished??). I recommend that anyone go to a big box store and see what you are buying so you don't waste your $.***********************************************************I had planned to use two strips together, but the two strips came apart on own at the ends. I decided to deal with it and just use on strip. THEN...on one of the strips the glue came off with the backing so the sealing strip was useless unless I end up using hot glue. I was able to use one the other piece. Thankfully I bought two packs, but I feel like I should be reimbursed.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT based on the glue pulling off with the backing has shown in the photo. Maybe I had a pack that was old and had been in stock for a while? Who knows.

These are as advertised I like that you can split the may make them too narrow strips. They were easy to install, and they worked well.

From the moment you start to peel the backing tape the adhesive is desperately trying to separate itself from the seal. Even when I kept it from separating during application I soon had unglued strips hanging from my door frame with the adhesive still on the wood.

I wanted to soundproof my windows. It definitely was a simple, value for money fix. Stuck it on the sides of the windows where it closes and it has reduced the sounds from outside a lot.Also less drafts from the outside during winters.Just be careful when removing the sticker.
