I read an online discussion about sewing/quilting and someone mentioned this awl. I looked it up and read more about it to learn what it is best used to do. I ordered, it arrived very quickly, and I used it immediately. I quilt so there are times I need to "reverse sew"; this awl made that task so easy! No accidentally poking into the fabric; just slip that curved tip under the stitch and out it comes easily. It is great to hold down the tips of fabrics as it goes under the needle. It fits neatly into my hand. The metal is polished to a very smooth finish so no snags or catches. I highly recommend this tool from Clover!

First off, between a curved and a straight awl, i'm so glad i got the curved.1. Clover quality is top notch, the metal is smooth, and the pick perfectedly rounded to pick but not snag, if you know what i mean.2. It helps with everything from holding fabric down to getting the corners popped out to smoothing out edges.3. It's still an awl, so I do use it to make holes for my button closures and snaps.It's been a handy little helper. I should have got this earlier, and not have had to struggle or get a dozen other cheaper and now useless tools.

This little tool is wonderful. It helps holds fabric in place as I feed in under the presser foot. It also helps pull up the bobbin tread when treaded my machine.

This curved awl works great when unpicking quilting stitches. I like it better than using a seam ripper as it helps to not accidently make a slit in the quilt.

It’s a little than I expected to be, love the curved tip, it’s to small to be comfortable in my hands. Sturdy tho and well made just wished it was longer!

Using this gadget saves my fingers. Most wonderful tool to help guide that fabric under the pressure foot when it's being complicated. Not sure if it's meant for that but it's my favorite for that.

J'aime bien cet outil, qui ressemble à un poinçon mais avec une pointe courbée au bout arrondi.Très bien conçu pour travailler avec ma machine à coudre, en protégeant mes doigts :) lorsque je m'approche trop près de l'aiguille !Bonne prise en mains. Taille parfaite. Il ne quittera plus ma table de couture. Il devient indispensable !Très pratique pour aider le tissu à avancer, ou pour faire passer le tissu épais sous le pied de biche, lorsque ça bloque.J'adore :) Mes doigts aussi :)J'ai lu également que certaines personnes l'utilisent aussi pour régler le fil de la canette. Pourquoi pas, car je prenais toujours mon découd fil !Livraison un peu longue, car vient d'Angleterre et avec les douanes, suivant certaines périodes de l'année, ça peut mettre du temps. Mais je l'ai reçu à la date annoncée.Excellent vendeur.

Punteruolo non troppo appuntito, lo uso per riprendere le maglie difficili da prendere con il ferro e per questo avere la punta un po’ stondata lo rende perfetto.

Found the first one so useful just bought second for traveling sewing kit. Incredibly useful for unpicking without damage to fabric.
