These are heavy duty and nice and sturdy! We used them to hold up a thick butchers block shelf piece on the end of our kitchen island. It works great! When we need more countertop space, we flip up the butchers block shelf piece. When we want more room to get around in our kitchen, we flip it down for easy storage. Love it!

My laundry room is not terribly big and having a shelf in there provides a lot of help and utility. Can’t be too large but also has to be stable. These brackets allowed me to install a shelf that doesn’t need to be removed if I need to slide out a washer or dryer for maintenance or replacement. They are strong enough to hold hundreds of pounds and seem very stable on the wall. Relatively easy to install (used studs to ensure stability). Very happy with this purchase.

I gotta say, these are really great. They were very easy to install and I think that they will hold up to my uses exceptionally. So you are asking yourself, if these are so great why only 4 starts. Well here are the things holding it back from a 5 star.First the product page does not provide enough information for planning these on an install. I was using these to make a folding table out of a 25 inch wide butcher block board and it was not clear whether or not I would run into issues using the "24 inch" brackets (a review mentioned some problems on theirs with brackets being to long" so I took the safety rout of going with the 22 inch brackets. The 22 inch brackets work well and I do not forsee any issues, but I am left wondering whether or not 24 inch brackets would have worked, and I have a future project where I plan to use the same board to make a work table where this may be more important. Having installed the 22 inch variant I am pretty confident 24 inches should work.The other issue that holds these back is they have pretty sharpp edges and some slag left from cutting of certain pieces, specifically the diagnal braces when it is folded into the up position. While I did not cut myself on these, I did note how sharp certain parts were and would be concernd if a toddler were in our house that the may grab them or bump into them without caution. Most edges on these are pretty "crisp" and I would plan to take a file across them to dull them out a bit.Those things being said, I would recommend these and would order them again.

Great item! Well designed and well made. Haven't used them yet, but can tell it's a well-made product. Took a while to get here, but I wasn't in any hurry and the price was right.

Buy these...they are great and can hold alot of weight if you DO NOT USE THE SUPPLIED anchors!...they suck and the stainless shelf that I attached to the folding brackets started to pull away from the wall with just the weight of the stainless steel shelf (15 lbs) max. So I went to homedepot and bought amazing anchors with wings esp since there was no studs to screw into that hold 100 lbs a piece and the folding brackets require 6 anchors (3 each side) Now I feel confident that the brackets can now hold the max amt the shelf will hold which is 200 to 300 lbs and I will never put that much weight on there ever. They fold to about 20 degrees from the wall and is a nice feature but I will probably not use. I use a rolling tool box under the shelf anyway!

I made a stand for my chop saw and wanted these brackets to fold the sides up and down. They are easy to install and work great. They allowed extra support to hold boards while doing projects.

Good quality and folds quite flat which was important for the space it was used in. Locks into place easily and easily released to fold. I would buy this product again.

Perfect for what I needed. I didn’t have enough counter space in my small apartment. So I installed a fold down table to create more space off the end of the counter, but could also be compacted. It turned out very well. Sturdy and it’s one of the only brackets I found that doesn’t have much space between the hinges, which creates less gap space from the counter. Board was purchased and cut at Home Depot....Perfect
