So they sell a widget very similar to this for VW's and I didn't feel like waiting (yay Prime), so I took a gamble on this and with some small modifications, it will work in a Mark 7 or Mark 7.5 Golf (or any Golf derivative like my Alltrack, GTI, Golf R, etc). First, you need to probably remove a couple washers (I removed two). This is easy to do from the bottom, just pull off the bottom layer, then remove however many washers, then put the bottom back on. Second, the stem is about 50% too long, so I took a pair of scissors and snipped it to half the length. You don't really need the pointy end bit because the little plastic winglets that stick out will keep it in place. Then you just remove your stock rubber plug behind the clutch pedal and stick it in there (some twisting required) and you'll be all set. Works great for a lower price and you get it quickly via Prime.

Push clip was too long to fit for E90, had to cut the end off the shorten it so I could use it. Also if you have to adjust the height you have to pull the clip in and out multiple times to remove washers, so be careful, its just a cheap plastic push pin. Is it worth $20? No. Does it work? Yes.Edit: The seller contacted me and refunded me so they stand behind their product to some extent.

It’s a pain to install as you will need some strength but after some good elbow grease. It’s locked in! I installed it in a F80 M3

so I installed it on my 2024 Toyota Supra but had to cut the length in half, squeeze the small fins with a plier, and crush them to fit. It didn't go in with pressure by the hand, so I positioned it and pushed the clutch with my foot a couple of times and fixed it with my hand by twisting it so it sat flush. But now it works great!! I removed two washers

Too big for M2, warps and bends when trying to apply a little pressure to make it fit. Absolute waste of money and I missed the opportunity for a refund by just a few days.100% ripoff.
