I was really looking forward to using this device to help make binding. After trying to make binding out of 4 different fabrics, I have decided that the ruler was cut incorrectly. The instructions don't help. They should have used fabric with a distinct front and back so you can tell how to align the two pieces. Nothing lines up on my cut pieces to achieve a useable binding. The plexiglass material is wavy on the cut edges which indicates to me it is defective.
