Its works well. Easy to setup only After you grasp setup that active map lines dont all show. The software needs to show ALL active connections at once for the midi merge. It only shows one at a time even though it really is all merging all3 into one. Nice to have a midi filter/input for kbds that keep sending out junk bend/mod and other cont data even when you aren't touching the wheels. ALSO biggy here: The markings on the box are WAY too hard to see which port is 1 ,2 , 3 , in or out. I had to put my own labels on them . Just do bolder brighter print. Not the useless dull gold on black!!! And hey now lets make a bigger model; Like 6 or 8 in X 4 out. Same functions

What an amazing little device, so simple and it works flawlessly. Solved all my midi issues 5 minutes after opening the box! Thank you for making this product it’s absolutely worth every penny and more!

I like doing live loops. Had a lot of issues over the years trying to sync all my gear properly. Being able to filter out certain MIDI signals with the MIDI tools software has been an absolute game changer! The only advice I'd give anybody with this thing is if you ever do a firmware update, be prepared to completely re-do all your filters and routing... just learned this the hard way. If this little thing hadn't solved 5+ years of headaches I would've taken off a star for that. But yeah, if anyone from CME is reading this review, at the VERY LEAST, can you please WARN people that before doing a firmware update, we should screenshot our settings? Great product, it solved 1/15 of a lifetime of headaches for me but PLEASE either fix this or add a warning/disclaimer message before doing firmware updoots. Thank you :)*Edit: Thankfully I had some screenshots backed up from my config. Took about 45 mins to track down the screenshots, re-apply them and test. Minus one hypothetical star for CME. (I hope they read this and at the very least create a disclaimer or even better if they create a way to save configs within the software )

I had some minor issues with this CME Midi Interface when i first got it but was able to work them out and it has been working great ever since. Probably the best price you'll find for an interface with these features.

This thing is worth every penny. I’ve been trying to figure out MIDI so long that my MIDI cables are legit from radio shack lol. Who knew this little thing was all I needed. Just plugged it in, plugged my devices in, and instant functionality in Waveform.

It's very flexible and reliable so far.I am using it as follows currently:keystep 37 MIDI out --> MIDI in3 --> MIDI out3 --> MIDI out2 (merged) --> MIDI out1 (merged)DR-880 MIDI out --> MIDI in2 --> MIDI out2 --> MIDI out1 (merged)DR-202 MIDI out --> MIDI in1 --> MIDI out1And when attaching to a PC/Win 10/11 ... you can turn on 'advanced mode' to get an additional 3 USB IN(s) and 3 USB out(s) as well, when attached to the PC via. the USB C to USB cord (included).You can change the above routing to whatever you want to the software using a PC.So you could make it work like a thru box, or as a router + merge like I did.I like how the active midi data path flashes, so its easy to know/remind yourself how you routed things.The filtering would also be nice, as you can filter each input differently if you want.Scott Uhl has a great review on this box on youtube.

Works well for me at a much lower price than midi solutions stuff (but I'm not doing anything too demanding, just merging two midi streams) . Very flexible and setup was simple with the program. Note than it DOES REQUIRE USB POWER and only comes with a short USB C cable, so that could be a bit of a challenge.

"Scatolotto" meraviglioso che permette di gestire flussi MIDI con la semplicità che uno si augura di trovare, prima o poi, in un argomento tanto banale quanto complesso come il MIDI. Ottima l'applicazione software che permette di configurarlo e creare preset che possono persino essere richiamati direttamente dal dispositivo (senza bisogno del computer) attraverso il tastino incluso.Forse unico "minus" il fatto che necessiti dell'alimentazione via USB-C, se fosse stato auto-alimentato sempre via midi (vedi tipo i dispositivi di Midi Solutions) sarebbe stato il non-plus-ultra ma non è certamente classificabile come "difetto". Anzi, tutto sommato l'alimentazione via USB-C lo rende a prova d'imprevisto perché un caricatore da telefono e un cavo si possono reperire ovunque: i Kenton, ad esempio (altri prodotti professionali) hanno bisogno di un alimentatore DC.
